Live a life extra-ordinary

“When a man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.”-Jacques Yves Coustou

We all have the opportunity to lead extraordinary lives. It’s a fact. We are amazing creatures! If you don’t believe, take a gander at some of these amazing facts:

There are 37 trillion cells in your body (you began as a couple)

Your fingers are capable of feeling things 7,500 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair.

Your nose (and brain) can remember 50,000 different scents.

The surface area of your lungs is roughly 750 square feet!

Your body produces 300 billion cells per day.

Human beings have created cures for horrible illnesses, walked on the moon, learned to fly, built gigantic buildings and tiny computers, learned to travel faster than the speed of sound, tiptoe silently through the bushes. We have done AMAZING THINGS!!! We are all capable of extraordinary lives!

This doesn’t mean we all will find cures for cancer, win Nobel Prizes, eliminate hunger, pitch in multiple World Series’, or create the best BBQ recipe ever made. But that doesn’t let us off the hook. We can live lives that are extra-ordinary. We can catapult mediocrity, we can inspire, we can achieve, we can love deeply, we can impassion and embolden others, we can provide hope and compassion…we can allow our souls to grow luminescent for the world to see and gain comfort from its glow. We can be the very best version of ourselves and be as bright as we possibly can be, and when we do, I guarantee, the world will be in awe of its brilliance. Live inspired. Be the light. Be you.

So get busy living your optimal life. We are all waiting.
